A Little More Canine Common Sense, Please

What is it going to take for conservatives to wake up?  Seriously folks, do you honestly think that ALL Americans have had enough of Obama or that they have even seen through his socialistic ideology?  If I, a mere canine, can see that not all Americans have seen the BS coming out of the current administration, why can’t you?

Every day I witness people taking the word of someone else just because they can’t be bothered to actually dig into facts for themselves.  What’s worse is that they’re taking the word of liberal Hollywood.  I know that Cher is not a trustworthy source of information and I’m just a dog!  It is disheartening to see a few working so diligently to combat this onslaught of liberalism while others complacently sit by and do nothing because they’re convinced that the general population sees through Hollywood and liberals like Debbie Wasserman-Shultz.

The upcoming presidential election is probably the most important one of my human’s lifetime.  This election will decide if America continues down the path of destruction set forth by Obama and his minions or if she will make a u-turn and follow the path back to the foundations set forth by the Founding Fathers in the U.S. Constitution.  No one can afford to sit back and not be giving it their all.

I’m thinking that conservatives could use with a little more “canine common sense” and a lot less “we don’t have to worry about that group attitude”.

(Is it just me or is the mentality of the left?)

Remember The Fourth of July

My human says that we live in a ‘red county’ but that it means little anymore.  She’s pretty peeved right now that there are no Fourth of July celebrations planned.  No parade, no fireworks display, no live bands playing patriotic music…nothing, nada, zilch!  Yep, the Ponytail Patriot is fired up about it.

Even I, a mere canine, know how lucky we are to live in America.  So why aren’t we celebrating the birthday of our beloved country.  It’s because the politicians in control don’t want to offend illegal aliens or ethnicities that are living here.  That’s right, I said it.  The few and illegal are dictating to the rest what we will and will not celebrate.  Oh, they use the excuse that it’s because it’s during the middle of the week but I’m not buying it.  They could do like other communities and have their celebrations on the weekend before or after!  Conservative and Liberals alike are too afraid of offending a potential voter to do the right thing.

That is why we have to be diligent in vetting our candidates for all levels of elected government.  We must know that they will stand up for what is right.  Just like Candi must be diligent in her surroundings to avoid an outbreak of poison ivy (she has it pretty bad right now).  It is not enough to know WHAT they stand for.  We must know that they WILL stand.  And “We the people” must demand that the hold the ground on our behalf once we have elected them to office.

This Fourth of July, our town will have no parade.  We will have no fireworks.  We will have no celebration of Independence and the birth of this great nation that was founded on FREEDOM.  This is unacceptable in this canine’s eyes and something that I cannot permit to happen again.  Regardless of what day of the week it falls on, or who might be offended (they are free to leave if they don’t like it here) the birth of America should be celebrated!

We are going to celebrate in our own way.  It will include patriotic movies (most of them from the 40’s), Candi will be going to the pool for a bit and blasting Madison Rising’s version of The Star Spangled Banner (yes, she’s taking speakers so everyone can enjoy it), and a walk.  She’ll probably make us some hotdogs too.  Ok…so the hotdogs are my favorite part of the holiday, but it’s the only day she lets me have one.  I hope that each of you will find a way to celebrate and honor what our Founding Fathers intended.  Whether you have the traditional celebrations in your town or not, please don’t forget to honor their vision.  Have a safe and happy Fourth of July.  God Bless America!

What Does Your Child Learn?

Everyday my human complains about liberals taking over the education system in America.  After watching the following YouTube video, I have to agree.

First, this woman clearly has no control over her own classroom.  While listening to this, I heard plenty of kids in the classroom having conversations that are obviously not related to the subject.  That one fact alone give me serious pause about her ability to teach any of our children.  How can you teach if you can't command the attention of your pupils?

Second, this woman has no idea what FREE SPEECH means.  The student is correct.  It is not a crime to voicing a dissenting opinion against the President of the United States.  It is a crime to THREATEN the President.  This kid questioned the information being presented and tried to get both sides.  That was in NO WAY a threat or slandering Obama.

Last, why has this teacher not been fired?  I can guarantee you that any teacher who would talk to my human's daughter that way because she asked a valid question would be in deep water.  My human would be taking her stilettos and bopping the teacher on the head with the heels for bullying her child that way.  The point of school is to educate.  You can't teach if you aren't willing to hear the question.

This teacher is clearly NOT a teacher.  She is a bully who uses her position to drive home HER opinion.  It is the opinion of this canine that she prefers to only hear what others have to say IF they agree with her.  That is NOT what school is about and I would hope that the school district would reprimand her immediately.  Of course, with unions in control...I don't see that one happening any time soon.  Wonder what your children are being subjected to by their Social Studies teachers.

How To Be A Happy Liberal Woman

I think I have finally figured out why liberal women are in a constant bad mood.  They’re always claiming to be something they aren’t while demanding equal treatment.  That has to be frustrating beyond belief.

Elizabeth Warren is a prime example of this type of mentality.  For years she claimed to be Native American in an attempt to garner preferential treatment while demanding that she be given EQUAL opportunity.  Thanks to the internet and a little thing called YouTube, we now have musical proof of her claims.

So, she claims to be Indian while demanding equality.  How exactly does that work?  I can understand why she always wears a scowl on her face now.  I’d be in a constant state of frustration and panic if I had to fight battles on two fronts, too. 

As many of you know, my human loves classic movies.  This provides us with a lot of entertainment and every once in a while, inspires us with pro-American thoughts and attitudes.  Now I would like to share one of those moments with Ms. Warren.  Please, Ms. Warren, take a look at the following video and see if you can figure out the message.

That’s right, we’re inviting you to be true to your Native American heritage and “pass the peace pipe”.  I’m sure that if you learn this song and dance, take the advice, AND pass it on to other liberal women…you’ll all feel a lot better and those perpetual scowls on your faces will disappear.

Oh yes, and don’t forget the next time you are filling out paperwork that you are only a small part Indian.  Like Patton, my adopted younger brother, we are all “mutts” and have various national and ethnic backgrounds in our family histories.

No Excuses!!!

There are many things that cause me to want to take a bite out of the bum of people.  One thing, however, not only makes me want to bite them…I want to go for their jugulars.  The abuse of children in any way shape or form is unacceptable to me, but sexual abuse of children makes me want to have your innards for desert.  To excuse yourself from participation in child pornography because it showed up on your computer without your knowledge or consent is complete and utter horse shit!

I know for a fact that if you aren’t looking for that sort of thing, it doesn’t show up in your emails and/or on your computer screen.  My human has never had that sort of thing show up on her computer.  Of course, she doesn’t go looking for porn of any kind on the internet.  Companies pay good money for these ‘cookies’ that track what you search on the internet so that they can send ads and emails directly to you.

I’ll give you a prime example.  Last week my human did a search on motorcycle riding boots.  Because of that search, she now gets daily emails and ads pop up on her screen for boots of all kinds.  If she hadn’t done that search, we’d still be seeing pet supply ads and getting those emails.  Don’t try and tell me you didn’t do a search and that you’re getting child pornography in your inbox all of a sudden for no reason.  You would have had to do a search on something that would make you a target for that filth!

I am disgusted beyond belief that the court of appeals in NY would say that the viewing of child pornography on the internet is not a crime.  To suggest that you have no control of the content that comes across your computer screen is ludicrous.  I’m a dog and know that!  What planet do these judges come from?  What alternate universe do they live in that would condone this kind of behavior and put millions of children at risk?  I believe there is a special place in hell for these people and the judges who have condoned such behavior.  As a matter of fact, I’ll be more than happy to escort them to that place myself!  All they have done is make it acceptable for pedophiles and porn addicts to openly ask for this material.  The suppliers have to be thrilled!

Wake up America!  The dregs of humanity are taking over this country and the current liberal establishment is making it easier for them.  When will you defend the innocent?  When will you stand up and be counted in order to protect those that cannot protect themselves?  When will you stand up for the morals and ethics that this great nation was founded on?  I’m just a canine, but I’m doing my part to stand up to the evils that are threatening my country.  If a dog can do it…what’s your excuse for not?

Pelosi, Pot and State Rights

It seems that Nancy Pelosi is calling for Obama to respect states rights.  I realize that it’s mainly over ‘medical marijuana’, but I still find it odd that she is in favor of states rights at all.  Isn’t this the same woman who helped give us Obamacare?  

Hang on…Candi needs help getting off the floor because she’s laughing so hard.

Ok…Candi is going to be just fine.  I was worried for a moment because she was snorting and couldn’t catch her breath. 

I cannot be the only one who finds the irony of this story.  Since when do liberals and Democrats care about states rights?  The last time I checked, which was just a few moments ago, they were more concerned about the federal government being in complete control of every aspect of American lives.  Want proof?  Just look at Obamacare.  The individual mandate alone is proof positive that liberals/Democrats want to dictate to the individuals and the states what is best for them.  Nancy honey…put down the bong!

Wait…Candi fell over laughing again.  I’ll be right back.

Of course Pelosi comes from an extremely liberal state that is very concerned about legalizing “pot”, but still…the hypocrisy of her wanting states rights respected on this while not respecting any other states rights is too funny!  I have to wonder what she put in that bong of hers.  Do you suppose she has her own medical marijuana garden in her backyard and she’s worried about the raids on her own property?  It could be.

Issues Belong To Everyone

The Obama campaign comes up with a composite fictional character named Julia to feature in a slide show about how he is helping women.  Excuse me a moment, I’m laughing hysterically with my human!  Ok…I’m done for the time being.  The fictional character starts at age three and goes through age sixty-seven in the slideshow.  At the end we see the final panel that says:

From cracking down on gender discrimination in health care costs to fighting for equal pay, President Obama is standing up for women throughout their lives.

Candi and I are trying to figure out just how he doesn’t discriminate against women with his healthcare law.  We can’t see that he’s really done anything new on the equal pay front, either.  And throughout the entire thing, he tells us what Romney would do to reverse all Obama’s hard work.  Excuse me just a moment.  Mr. Obama, did you do all the things you claim in the slideshow between rounds of golf and family vacations? 

Here’s the thing.  I’ve been watching and I know with absolute certainty that liberals and democrats don’t honestly care about women’s issues.  All they’re trying to do is keep the country divided by breaking down individual things into a specific group issue. 

The fact of the matter is…all issues belong to everyone.  Stop making this about men or women and white or black.  The issues facing this country are non-racial and non-gender.  Seriously people, take it from this “female dog” and stop the nonsense.  Let’s get down to the business of finding real solutions to problems that belong to all races and genders!

To Be Or Not To Be A Gender/Species

Anyday liberals are going to decide that I can no longer be a dog.  After reading the story about LEGOs creating a “girl friendly” line and a feminist group being upset about it, it’s the only conclusion I can come to.  First they’ll do away with all genders, then they’ll do away with species.  Am I the only one who finds this wrong?

My human and her friend are currently trying to keep their heads from “popping” over the story that feminists are ticked off over a “girl friendly” version of the popular LEGOs toys.  I really can’t blame them.  They are girly girls and a group of women have decided that being feminine or even liking something feminine is wrong.  Who gave those “female dogs” the right to tell my human and her friends that they shouldn’t enjoy being feminine and traditional feminine roles?  Grrrr!

I feel the need to explain something to this group of women who think that celebrating one’s gender is wrong.  There are definite advantages to being a female.  For example, men don’t wear stilettos and therefore are missing out on a most excellent weapon.  My human once used her “sinning shoes” to defend herself against two very large and vicious dogs.  Because she celebrated her femininity and had on her “sinning shoes”, she was able to slip them off and “bop the dogs in the head”.  In doing so, she stunned the dogs who then just sat on their haunches and stared at her.  Are you going to tell me that by refusing her the joy of being a woman you will gladly take away one of her excellent weapons for self preservation?  I won’t.

You women make me want to bite you hard on your “female dog” rear ends.  You want special consideration because you’re a female, but then turn around and demand that no one recognize your gender.  Talk about hypocritical!  Get over yourselves and smell the coffee down in Columbia.  You should be proud of your differences from men and stop demanding what you don’t really want!  

Hollywood Has-Been/Political Wannabe....GO HOME!!!

Hollywood and Washington, D.C. have always been connected.  Stars and politicians enjoy the photo ops that rubbing elbows bring.  Generally, I don’t have a problem with it.  I do have a problem with it when stars use their platform to spout ridiculous and uneducated comments in an attempt to garner attention.  Our latest prime example of this would be the one and only Roseanne Barr. 

Ms. Barr is perhaps the saddest of all creatures on Earth, a “Hollywood has been”.  These “has been” celebrities often try to regain their former fame by inserting themselves into current events and/or politics.  Ms. Barr has even gone so far as to announce her candidacy for President of the United States.  Now in all fairness, her announcement to run for President doesn’t really bother me.  After all, she is a joke and no one in their right mind would take her seriously.  What does bother me is that Ms. Barr has now attacked Ann Romney.

I don’t know if Ann Romney raised her children herself or if they had nannies.  Personally, I don’t care.  What I do care about is the fact that Mrs. Romney is being attacked when no one really knows what they’re talking about.  Were Roseanne and Hilary Rosen there in the Romney household?  Were they around to help Ann through her illnesses?  Where are the witnesses to back up their claims? 

Seriously, this is not about moms or women.  This is about making the Romney’s look as completely out of touch with the rest of us as they possibly can.  They want us looking at that and ignoring the fact that the Obama’s hired a plane just to take the family dog to Hawaii for vacation.  They don’t want us looking at the Obama’s oldest child going to Mexico for Spring Break, or Michelle’s expensive wardrobe.  Liberals don’t want us looking too close at the out of control spending that has increased since Obama took office either. 

Honestly, I don’t care what the Romney’s personal finance situation was or is.  I don’t even care about what Obama’s personal finance situation was or is.  What I do care about it what our government finance situation was and is currently.  I care about what our military is doing overseas to protect us from more terrorist attacks.    I care about our porous borders and what D.C. is going to do to help states like Arizona and Texas defend themselves against the drug cartels that come and go across our Southern border as they please.  I care about charges being brought against Attorney General Eric Holder for perjuring himself before Congress. 

In short, I care about a great many other things that affect our economy, our national security and the overall health of our nation.  Stop this inane argument about who does what when and/or where.  Give me a plan for fixing the problems that our country is facing.  And please, for the love of God, Ms. Barr…SHUT UP!  No one cares what you have to say Roseanne.  You are irrelevant and you know it.  After the antics you pulled in the nineties with your husband Tom Arnold, you will never have anything of value to add.  Stop embarrassing yourself and your family.  It’s time to permanently fade away!

An Open Letter To Hilary Rosen

Dear Ms. Rosen,

Let me explain something to you since you obviously have no idea what it means to be a REAL woman who stays at home to raise her children.  They don’t do it because they don’t have any understanding of the economy.  They do it because they can.  They understand the economy well enough to know that the paycheck their spouses bring home each week is enough to cover the needs of the family budget.   They know what it means to put WANTS aside and focus on NEEDS.  This is something I think you and others like you don’t understand.

My human has to work outside the home out of necessity.  She has no one else to see to the needs of the home and therefore, she goes to work every day in order to provide shelter, food and clothing for her household.  Her mother stayed at home the entire length of her childhood in order to raise six children.  She managed the household budget with one measly paycheck.  She could not have made that tiny paycheck stretch the way she did if she had no understanding of the economy.  Would you like to contradict that?

Just because Ann Romney has had the opportunity to stay at home does not mean she has no understanding of the economy.  You’re jealousy of her and how happy she seems to be is no reason to slam her for her choice.  You’re idiotic apology was futile and as fake as a three dollar bill.  There is no one who thinks your words were “poorly chosen”.  Even canines like myself know that you said exactly what you meant and you are only now apologizing because you have alienated a key demographic that will be needed to keep your boss in the White House this November.

I’d like to give you a small piece of advice from one “female dog” to another.  Stop before you make yourself look even more small and pathetic than you already look.

Things That Make Me Grrrrrrrr!

Two things I read on the internet this week make me want to bite some bums.  The first, Spike Lee tweeting the address of Zimmerman.  The second thing was Rep. Bobby Rush from Illinois making a mockery of the House of Representatives.  The following are my thoughts on both of these things.

First, we are going to look at the sheer stupidity of Spike Lee.  He not only tweeted the address of Zimmerman in hopes of inciting violence against the man, he tweeted the WRONG address.  That’s right… Spike Lee didn’t have enough sense to even make sure he had the right person.  What a buffoon!  My question is simple.  Who gave Spike Lee (a Hollywood has been) the right to put vigilantes and the media on the trail of a private citizen?  Oh wait…he’s a liberal and therefore the rules of common decency do not apply to him.  Freedom of Speech does NOT, I repeat does NOT, give you the right to endanger others!  Spike Lee needs to be charged by the authorities for endangerment of the elderly couple that actually do live at the address he tweeted!  In this canine’s opinion, his actions are not only  deserving of a bite on the bum…but a bite somewhere else that probably means a lot more to him.

Now we are going to look at the actions of Representative Bobby Rush from the state of Illinois.  I agree with my human that he does not deserve the title of Honorable in front of his name like other members of Congress.  Mr. Rush took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States when he was elected to office.  I’ve gone over the oath of office with my human and we’ve even looked at the rule of decorum for the House of Representatives.  Nowhere in the oath does it say that you swear to get up and make a mockery of the system or the House.  In the rules for decorum, it does specifically state in clause 5 of rule 17 hats on the floor of the House are not tolerated.  Mr. Rush, do you not believe in taking your responsibilities or your oath seriously?  Do you honestly believe that rules of decorum only apply to Republicans?  Once again, this canine thinks that the actions of Mr. Rush are deserving of a bite on the bum.  Not only that, but this canine thinks Mr. Rush should resign immediately because he has obviously entered into a state of delusion and therefore no longer represent those who live in reality!

Let me be as clear as a dog can be.  These are my opinions on two very real stories.  Both of these things mentioned actually occurred.  These two “grown men” behaved like spoiled rotten 2 year old brats.  It’s pretty sad when those of us in the animal kingdom behave better than humans!!!

Important Week In History

My human says this is probably the most important week of her generation’s lifetime.  She told me that the Supreme Court would be hearing arguments about Obamacare this week and deciding if it was constitutional or not.  A lot of people are attending rallies around the country and there is something going on everyday this week in Washington, DC.  Patriots all across this land are raising their voices to speak out against the tyranny that threatens our freedom. 

On this past Saturday, she attended the “Road To Repeal” rally with Diane Student and Lisa Mei Norton.  She stood in the rain and the cold for two hours freezing with other patriots from around the country.  They joined their voices together with others so that they could be heard by Obama and the Supreme Court.  I know that she would have liked to stay in DC for the entire week, but she had to return and see to the business she runs with her family.  My heart breaks for her because she is not where she wants to be this week and is instead where she needs to be in order to be a contributing member of society.  I am so grateful for the kindness of Diane Student and Lisa Mei Norton who made it possible for her to take the opportunity to stand up and be heard.  And although she can’t be there the rest of this week, there will be other dedicated patriots to take up the banner in DC and continue the fight there.

History is being made right now.  The fate of our country will be determined by nine people.  Will they adhere to the principles set forth in the constitution by our founding fathers?  Or, will they decide that 536 people in Washington should have control over every aspect of American life? 

I know that I’m just a canine, but I agree with my human that this is the most important week in the life of her generation.  I agree with her that freedom and the American way of life are at stake this week.  I pray that the Supreme Court rules in favor of the American people that Obamacare is unconstitutional.  I will attend every local rally and event with my human to help raise our voices against the tyranny that this legislation will usher in if the Court should rule in favor of Obama and his cronies.  Will you raise your voice with ours and shout out against Obamacare?  Will you help us let the Supreme Court know that We The People find this intrusion into our lives unacceptable? 

Rules Don't Apply To Dryer Lint

Every night my human takes Patton and I out for a walk.  She tries to be considerate of neighbors and their animals by taking us out when others would not normally be out.  The reason for that is because other humans have not or do not train their companions well enough.  As a result…I am often attacked by smaller canines.  Last night was a prime example.

On our way back inside from our walk we came across a neighbor who had her “dryer lint” (I swear it wasn’t a real dog) out.  “Dryer lint” was not on a leash.  We could not see them so, as we turned the corner “dryer lint” saw us and immediately rushed us and attacked me.  Now, I am a patient canine and play well with other canines.  However, I will not tolerate being attacked simply for existing.  I decided to defend myself.

The problem was NOT that I defended myself.  Candi could have handled that.  She has in the past.  No, the problem was that Patton decided I need help.  The human of the “dryer lint” was yelling at all of us but doing nothing to help my human keep us apart.  The end result, Candi ended up face first in soggy ground after twisting her leg/ankle in an attempt to keep control of me and Patton.  There we were tangled up together, slightly damp while the other human finally picks up her “dryer lint” and disappears into the night.

Now here is OUR problem with what happened.  Had Candi not had me and Patton on leashes, this same woman would have raised all kinds of a fuss about it.  Want to know how I know this?  Because she’s a liberal (she proudly displays an Obama sticker on her vehicle) and we all know that the rules only apply to conservatives and their companions.   Because of “dryer lint” not being on a leash, not having any manners whatsoever, AND its human failing to obey leash laws, Candi got hurt.  Maybe it’s just me, but I’m thinking that next time Candi should turn us loose and allow us to have “dryer lint” as a late night snack!!!!

Are We Taking The High or Low Road?

After cleaning up the mess a small tornado named Patton had made in the house this morning, my human sat down at the computer with her cup of coffee and the news.  It took all of about 2 minutes for me to hear, “Good grief!”

“Shasta, what is wrong with Americans?  Why do we, as a nation, thrive on ugliness?  I will never understand this childish need to tear one another down so that one person can feel better about himself/herself.  And people wonder why I prefer the company of you and Patton to humans!”

Once again, my human was on her “soapbox” about the childish behavior she witnesses daily.  What started it?  Seeing status updates on Facebook complaining about “attack ads” on the radio and TV.  The very people complaining about this are the same people who say rude and ugly things to one another because of the candidate the other supports.

Everyday Candi shares with me these Facebook status updates and comments that are at best opinionated and at worst, just downright hateful.  As conservatives, do we really want to bring ourselves down to the same level as liberals like Wasserman-Shultz, Garofalo, Maher and others?  Shouldn’t we take the high road and set the example, not only for our fellow conservatives, but for the candidates and liberals who are watching our behavior?

We are NOT perfect by any stretch of the imagination and certainly have moments when we rant and are not nice.  But we do try to lift up others.  We do try to spread the conservative message without resorting to name calling and ugly behavior.  We are not always successful and our sense of humor, as well as our sense of right and wrong, sometimes gets in the way of our attempts to be respectful.  Candi is only human and I am only a canine.  How many of you can honestly say that you are “trying” to take the high road and not resort to childish behavior and/or comments?

Joe Biden: A Big Baby

As Candi and I have been watching the news, we've been giggling over Joe Biden's crying.  Apparently he is upset that a reporter had the audacity to question his statements regarding murder rates doubling and rapes tripling in Flint, MI.  Really Joe?  C'mon...be a man and own up to the fact that you got it wrong!

"Seriously Shasta, if the man would just own up to the fact that he got it wrong we could get past it.  Instead he calls for an investigation to see if any Senate rules were broken by the reporter.  Ughhhh....these liberals whining every time they get caught making up things just gets under my skin," Candi said to me this morning.

"I don't understand what the problem is.  He is obviously the "gaffe machine du jour". Why do his people let him walk around saying stupid things?  And why doesn't he just own up to his limited intelligence and let America get over it?" I asked.

"Because, if liberals admitted when they made mistakes they'd lose the support of the sheeples that follow them.  He isn't Bill Clinton, after all.  No one can but Bill could lie about something, get busted, AND still come out relatively unscathed.  You have to have charisma to pull that off and let's face it, Joe Biden doesn't have any charisma whatsoever.  Besides, Obama needs Biden to make him look smarter than he is," Candi told me.

She's probably right.  I watch the news all day while Candi is running around getting errands done and everytime I see Joe on TV, I feel bad for the guy.  I really do.  He isn't very attractive, his sense of humor is lacking, and he never stops to check facts before opening his mouth.  Joe Biden is the epitome of liberals who think they know more than conservatives, but end up looking ridiculous because they haven't done their homework.  Because of his constant "foot in mouth" disease, he really does make Obama look good.

So, Candi and I thought we'd offer a little advice to Joe Biden's handlers.  Get the man a teleprompter and don't let him speak without it.  Maybe then he'd stop whining everytime someone calls him on his unverified facts, unintelligible rants and his overall lack of a filter between brain and mouth. 
Seriously, he is supposed to be representing the greatest country on Earth and you people let him walk around with his foot dangerously close to his mouth at all times. 

Candi and I would never let that happen to our boss!  Of course, she's just your average everyday lady and I'm just a dog so...what do we know?  Our filters between brain and mouth don't always work, but we at least TRY to get it right. 

One last thing for Joe:  Stop being a baby and crying because you got caught!  Grow up and take responsibility for NOT verifying your information before sharing it!  Oh wait, you're a liberal and that's beyond your capabilities!

Being Seen Does Not Equal Being Effective

There is definitely more than one way to make your voice heard. 

Candi is forever sending emails, making phone calls and signing petitions.  She also attends rallies and demonstrations in support of smaller government and less spending.  You may not see her and her friends on the news, but they are still making their voices heard in government.

On the other hand, you can congregate in large numbers and have sex on the street, do drugs, defecate on police cars, burn the American flag and bear your breasts to get the attention of the "lame stream media" without having a cohesive or coherent message.

Now, I ask you...which is more effective?  The quiet and respectful, or the loud and obnoxious?  I'm with my human on this and prefer the first!

When asked, "Where is the TEA Party?", my human responded with the truth.  The TEA Party is quietly making it's voice heard through actions such as petitions, phone calls and emails.  They are busy spreading the word via social networking sites and organizing rallies such as the one she attended in Nashville over the weekend.  Just because you don't see them on the news, doesn't mean they aren't active.

To organize mass numbers to confront these "occupiers" would only result in escalating violence.  Do we really want people killing each other on the streets of America?  I think not.  I may be a dog, but I know that violence is not the answer.  And with Van Jones and Stephen Lerner actively encouraging these "occupy" people to invade the homes and terrify families of CEO's, along with forcefully occupying buildings, believe me...violence would ensue if large numbers showed up in an anti-protest.

Also, with members of Congress and Hollywood showing support for these "occupy" people, the main stream media would have no problem whatsoever convincing middle America that the TEA Party instigated the violence.  Would we do more harm than good if we showed up enmasse to fight these hairy and unwashed people?  Once again, I have to agree with my human in thinking that we would.

So here is my advice to those who think the TEA Party is silent now.  Either make use of that computer you're sitting in front of and email your representative or put it away and make a phone call.  It's easy to talk big on the social networking sites, it's a lot more difficult to put yourself out there and actually take action.  For those unable to actively participate at rallies and so forth but are making calls and sending emails...well done!  For those unwilling to do more than complain publicly and talk big via Facebook and Twitter...would you please get out of the way?  There are those of us who are actually doing something and you're thwarting our progress!

Respectful Versus Disrespectful and Dogs

On Friday, my human left me behind while she went to Nashville for the "We Stand With Gibson" rally.  Naturally I was disappointed at being left behind, but I did understand the reasons for it.  Saturday evening she came home and after about twenty minutes of showing her how happy I was at her return, she went to get ready to head back out.  We didn't have any time to talk about her trip or the rally.  So yesterday, we spent the entire day cuddled on the sofa watching old movies and chatting about the rally and other events that were taking place during the weekend.

I told her about the coverage of the OWS I watched on TV and she told me about the various artists performing at the rally.  I told her about the struggle I had trying to use the Netbook and she told me about the rude person next to her at the hotel.  After a day spent discussing such things I came to a few conclusions.

One, according to liberals, my human is free to work hard as long she supports others that are unwilling to work.  As long as she isn't free-thinking enough to assume that what she earns is hers and doesn't belong to the village, they will let her go about her business uninterrupted or challenged.

Two, she is free to protest anything she wants as long as she is unruly, defecates on police vehicles and shows a total lack of respect for the environment they are so concerned about.  It is unseemly for her to attend a peaceful demonstration in support of hard work, American ingenuity and job creation such as the "We Stand With Gibson" rally in Nashville.

Three, she is free to worship however she chooses, as long as it isn't Christian worship.  Heaven forbid that she believe in God and the Ten Commandments.  She must choose to worship in the ways the ACLU deems best or risk being ostracized and sued by our government.

She is also free to attend any gathering where they don't sing the national anthem or say the Pledge of Allegiance first.  The fact that most TEA Party events do begin with showing respect to our country is something that drives the ACLU up a wall, and we can't have that!  Lord knows we don't want to offend anyone by proudly standing with our hand over hearts and reciting the Pledge!

I find it interesting that my human would be told "God bless you for what you're doing" by the liberals if she were showing her breasts or showing disrespect for anyone in authority.  But showing respect and love for her country and the freedoms it was founded on gets her called ugly names and ostracized by the "intellectuals" of our time.  How is it possible that thinking for herself is condemned but the mindless chants of a crowd are applauded?

"Shasta, don't worry so much about what the liberal left thinks.  The simple fact is, my friends and I are obviously doing something right.  If we weren't, we wouldn't be under attack the way we are," she told me.

"Well be that as it may, I think the liberal left needs to get a sense of humor as well as some common decency.  They need to understand that their unwashed bodies, public use of drugs and unruly behavior is doing nothing but making them look ridiculous and childish.  Even dogs behave better than that!"

I may walk around on four legs, go to the bathroom outside in the woods and depend on my human for fundamental needs, but even I know that the liberal left has NO clue what it means to be patriotic.  They obviously have great disdain for anyone seeking to protect the very things that made this country great.  And by that very reasoning my last conclusion after talking with my human is this:  I'd rather be a dog and have the love of my neighbors than be a joke and disgrace to my country. 

 

Open Letter To The "Occupy" Protesters

Dear Morons:

That's right...I'm calling you a name.  Want to know why?  Because you obviously don't understand that the very things you're supposedly protesting are the very rules and regulations put in place by the people you voted for!  Let's take a look at it.

First, Wall Street being in bed with big government.  I recall Obama being backed heavily by those Wall Street firms in 2008.  Did you forget about that?  And wasn't it the Clintons who put in place policies to help people who couldn't afford home loans to get them?  I think it was.  Oh my gosh, the very people you support are the very people you are now protesting.  But wait, if you had taken time to actually pay attention to what was going on in government BEFORE, you'd know that already!

Second, the very reason healthcare costs are increasing is because of the absurd Obamacare plan.  That's right!  Ask any business person or health insurance company and they'll show you the numbers of what it's going to cost them to comply with Obamacare.  Did you really think that the cost wouldn't be passed on to consumers?  Really?  What planet have you been on?  Oh wait, that's right...you're headline readers and don't feel like taking the time to actually research anything on your own.  Therefore, you just take the word of others (the media) that conservatives are wrong.  Yeah...and you guys are SUPPOSEDLY the educated party. 

Last, high unemployment.  Yeah, at the time the economy collapsed we had a Republican President.  With that being said, the White House is only 1/3 of government.  Congress, which was run by the Democrats, actually are the ones who control the purse strings in government.  They are the ones who pass legislation and spend our money.  So if no jobs are available because businesses are running scared due to the ridiculous legislation passed by this body, is that really the fault of Republicans?  I'm not holding them innocent, but they were woefully outnumbered in the House and the Senate for many years.  Just want you to know that.  You may want to look at Pelosi and Reid and their records to see how they affected the current high unemployment.

Let me ask you people, who is the bigger fool?  The fool himself, or the person who blindly follows the fool without question?  You don't even really know what you're protesting, but does that bother you?  No!  Listen, do the world a favor and take a little time to study the facts.  If at that point you still want to take off your clothes, block bridges and disrupt traffic, and chant stupid slogans, I'll support you in that right.  But until you take the time to study the issues from ALL angles:  SHUT UP AND GO HOME!!!!!!

Put Your Clothes Back On!!!!

So my human is reading an article posted on the Human Events website this morning about the "Occupy Wall Street" protest over the weekend.  I couldn't help myself, I had to ask.

"Candi, why is it that liberal women insist on taking their clothes off at demonstrations of this kind?"

"Well Shasta, that's a really good question.  I'm not exactly sure what point those women were trying to make other than, they still aren't wearing bras.  What's worse is that they don't know what point they were trying to make," she said. 

"When you go to rallies and demonstrations, do you take your clothes off?"

"Absolutely NOT!  Under NO circumstances would I bare my breasts in protest of anything.  Women that do are an embarrassment to REAL LADIES everywhere!  I mean, really Shasta...do you think that people want to see 40 + year old women running around with no clothes on?  Do these women not realize that gravity has taken hold of their bodies and that MOST people find the effects of said gravity a little disgusting? Trust me Shasta, if you want people to take notice, you have to have a clear and concise message and be willing to keep your clothes on.  Otherwise, you just look like an idiot!"

"I have a message I want to get out.  However, I only have a few outfits.  Do you think it would be possible for us to go shopping for doggie clothes this weekend? I really don't want to be considered foolish for running around naked while trying to get the word out."

As Candi fell over laughing, I brought her the computer and we started shopping for doggie outfits online.  I sincerely hope that, like me, liberal women will put their clothes back on!

Time To Rid America of Ticks!!!

Obama and liberals in D.C. are determined to drain every ounce of "blood" from the American people.  They refuse to see the failure of liberal policies and so, they keep re-introducing the same old line of "increasing taxes on the rich" and increasing the size of government by proposing a "jobs plan" that does nothing for actual recovery.  Does this NOT sound like a tick to you?  It sure does to me!

Americans take great pains in removing parasites from their beloved pets, but what are we actually doing to get rid of this parasitic administration?  You'll take your dog or cat to the vet when you THINK there might be a problem, but have you taken our government to your friends and family when you KNOW there is a problem?

It is time for Americans to remove the tick that is sucking the blood from the citizenry of the United States.  Obama and his cronies must be made to understand that we will not allow them to swell government to the point that this great nation is no longer recognizable. 

My human said it best, "I don't like removing ticks and other parasites from you, Shasta, but it has to be done.  It's for your overall well being!"  Of course, she's saying this as she's making gagging noises and trying not to throw up. 

I don't really like biting liberals (they have a bad after taste), but I do it when necessary.

The removal of ticks is gross, but it is necessary.  Will you help me rid America of the ticks that are threatening to drain the very essence of what makes this country great?
